Living the God Girl Life- Making an Impact 💕

Hey Beautiful people!

Thankyou for stopping by, I hope your having an amazing day.

To start things off, I apologise for not being active on my instagram, I have been really busy at the moment and held it off...but no more excuses I'm ready to come back and do more stuff.

The topic today on the last of the series "Living the God Girl Life", is about making an impact in people lives.

If you have enjoyed the series, please let me know which one was your favourite!

Anyway, making an impact on people for the Lord is so important in our daily life.

As much it is important to share the Gospel/Jesus with people, it's just as important as acting it out! When living out the Word and standing out differently from the crowd, you are making an impact for Him in such an awesome way...you probably didn't even know you were doing! ❤

STORY TIME:

My mum and I were out shopping the other week when we both noticed a old guy (quite grungy and poor looking, maybe even homeless) looking through the trash on the side of the road where we were driving. I immediately felt sorry for him and my heart yearned to help Him. I asked my mum "Is he looking through the trash mum?". It kinda shocked me. He had a big trolley next to him full of junk and seemed to be collecting it. Anyway, time passes and we continue shopping. Once we had finished, we crossed the street and saw the old man again - but this time he was frantically trying to pick up soda cans that had spilled all over a busy road/intersection - it was building traffic

People were still walking by oblivious to his problem. Mum and I saw the situation and immediately went over to help him. By the time we had helped picked up all the cans, people were slowly driving by looking at us surprised. One man even said "well done, ladies". Many people were impacted by it. Why would two women want to help a homeless man pick up trash?

People were impacted on how one girl and woman would be willing to help a home less man that they didn't even know.

Now, I'm not sharing this story to tell you how good of a person I am or to win your approval, but rather to make a point that in order to make an impact on this self-focused world, we have to stand out- in Jesus's love ❤️

Throughout Jesus's lifetime, he was willing to help the homeless, sick, the poor, the sinners -everyone!

In order to make a difference we need to be like Jesus. We need to be different. We need to make a change.

The definition "Impact" means to have a strong effect on someone. When having impact on others around us, we can share Jesus in a way where we can be different and show them His love.

By stepping out in faith and showing God's love through a simple act of kindness, we make an impact, big or small, in the people's lives around us.

So girls, lets a life that pleases Him by being His servants and making a impact on strangers with love. ❤

10 "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

- 1 Peter 4:10-11
